Details of Dinky 982 Pullmore Car Transporter
The Dinky Pullmore Car Transporter. Came in a blue striped Dinky Supertoy box complete with a loading ramp in a sleeve marked 994 Loading Ramp which was marked 794. Shown in the January issue of Meccano magazine at 17/6 with the ramp costing 1/7. It also available as part of a set including cars and also as No582. The model was renumbered 982 in January 1954. Advertised in the December 1957 Meccano magazine for 17/11. Windows were added in early 1961. The Pullmore Car Transporter made its last appearance in the July 1963 catalogue, and was deleted from production by the middle of that year. The original price was 16/6 . It was available in blue finish. Released in 1954 withdrawn in 1963.
